Adding igraph functions
If you are interested in adding igraph functions to the toolbox (or getting your own C functions based of the igraph library running in MATLAB), you'll need to know how to use the mxIgraph library.
This library provides a bridge between MATLAB's mex API and the igraph API, it is primarily used for converting between MATLAB and igraph types in a consistent manner.
The easiest way to learn how to wrap a function is to read through a few of the C source files in the toolbox (under toolbox/mex
, as opposed to the mxIgraph source under mxIgraph
).
Even if you are not familiar with C, the common patterns should make it possible to wrap functions without too much difficulty in many cases.
Additionally, the mxIgraph.h
header file (mxIgraph/include/mxIgraph.h
) provides all the exposed functions and which source file the are defined in.
If you need a list of functions or want to see what the function is actually doing, start there.
